About the Course
These qualifications are designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to care for others in a broad range of health or social care settings. A Diploma in Health and Social Care is flexible to suit all fields of health and social care. Learners can expect to learn more about the role of the health and social care worker, the key principles of safeguarding and protecting in health and social care, the causes and spread of infection, the duty of care in health and social care settings, and much more! The purpose of the qualification is to support the carer’s role in the workplace and to enable them to progress to higher level qualifications.

Method of Delivery
Delivery will be in partnership with employers and adopt a blended approach of on and off the job training and professional development. Apprentices will receive training and mentoring in the workplace and knowledge, skills and behaviour development at City College of London through classroom-based activities.

Upon completion candidates can look for employment in a health and social care role or related area.
